We are pleased to announce that the Madison Lounge Bench has been awarded the Iron A’ Design Award in the category of Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design. This Lounge Bench is inspired by the cars
around 1959, the angle of the legs resembles a rising rocket, and the upholstered surface floats upon four metal cylinders that supports it, providing the illusion of an airplane wing. The piece expresses modernism and the spatial idealism present in the early 60’s, with a modern and renovated twist that provides a contrast to the upholstery which makes it suitable in almost any contemporary style.
The grand jury panel of the A’ Design Award & Competition consists of internationally influential press members, established designers, leading academics and prominent entrepreneurs. The A’ Design Awards are the world’s most influential and largest design awards, presented each year in Italy.
